Narla have industry-experienced staff that can undertake and advise on water quality sampling and testing for ecological impact assessments. We are experienced at carrying out water quality monitoring and testing on your required schedule and can issue understandable and actionable reports.

Water Quality Expertise

Water Quality Testing

Parameters and Procedures

Narla uses the highest quality water testing equipment and can test water samples for many parameters, chemical and physical, including:

• pH

• Salinity

• Turbidity (TSS or NTU)

• Presence of faecal coliforms (E. coli)

• Dissolved Oxygen

• Heavy Metals

• Or any other parameters as required by your site’s management plans

Water quality monitoring relies on precise scientific sampling procedures. This includes avoiding contamination between samples and comparing samples under varying factors such as at different times and at different locations.

Note: Narla does not conduct Water Quality Testing for drinking water.

Workplace Health and Safety

Workplace health and safety is especially important for each and every employee at Narla Environmental. Water Quality Monitoring is always accompanied by a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS), ensuring occupational health and safety is maintained throughout. Sampling is conducted in teams of at least two dressed in appropriate PPE, ensuring the safety of the team.

Certifications

Our team is well-trained and fully certified in the following: First Aid, Chainsaw, EWP, Working at Heights, White Cards, RIW cards, 4WD, BAM accreditation. With Mine-Spec Vehicles, we are ready for any job.
